I had a working mom growing up and always knew I was not cut out to be a stay-at-home mom. Major guilt over this, of course. But… Bob Goff said once to do what makes you more loving. Working and pursuing my professional goals makes me more loving towards my children and husband. I look forward to seeing them so much in the evenings because I was able to follow my heart during the day. My best yes will always be for them, but I am a person with professional ambitions and I’m choosing to lean into that.
